Laura Loomer mocked Attorney General Pam Bondi on Friday while making demands that she “fire” ex-FBI director James Comey’s daughter to “prove” she cares “about law & order.”
Comey found himself under fierce criticism and FBI investigation after he shared an Instagram photo showing seashells arranged to form the numbers “86 47.” Some, including members of the administration, interpreted the code as a cryptic call for violence against President Donald Trump, who described it as a “clear” call for “assassination.”
Posting to X, Loomer spotted the opportunity to put pressure on Bondi by directing MAGA’s fury over Comey’s post at Maurene Comey, who works as a federal prosecutor on the DOJ’s team in the Sean “Diddy” Combs case. Loomer has long had questions about why Maurene Comey is still employed by the department and has been unhappy with Bondi for stalling on the release of the Jeffrey Epstein files.
In a barrage of tweets she repeatedly taunted “Blondi” and challenged her to “fire” Maurene Comey, calling the prosecutor a “national security risk.”
“If Comey doesn’t get arrested & Pam Blondi doesn’t fire James @Comey’s daughter from the DOJ, then you’ll know all of the talk about accountability from the DOJ is nothing more than a Fox News talking point,” she wrote.
“I don’t think Blondi has what it takes,” Loomer jibed in a later tweet. “Zero accountability.”
The move comes after Loomer branded Bondi “a full-fledged liar” this week on her podcast over the files and lambasted the AG for being “on Fox News more than” working.
