Mark Levin Promotes Misleading Trump Attack on Fox News Colleague Karl Rove

Mark Levin promoted a misleading attack from President Donald Trump on his Fox News colleague, Karl Rove, on Wednesday after Rove’s appearance on Fox & Friends earlier that day caused Trump to lash out at the architect of former President George W. Bush’s two White House campaigns.
During the hit, Rove bashed the Democratic Party and its “nutty” activist class for struggling to “talk like normal people.”
Then, after Rove was asked if he had a “warning for Republicans at this moment,” the legendary GOP operative answered:
Recognize that the-, coalitions tend to come and go, and that the Republicans need to be aimed not at the hardcore base of their party, but at broadening that-, the Republican realm, if you will, by getting independents, and ticket splitters, and people who might be, you know, somewhat suspect of the Republicans, but need to be wooed in order to win elections.
They got wooed by 2024 because the idea of four more years of the Biden-Harris administration was anathema to them. But they voted for the Republicans because they didn’t want to vote for Democrats. Now, they’ve got to find a way to say vote for us because of positive feelings about what it is that we’re doing, and what it’s that we are offering for the the future of the country.
Rove’s answer infuriated Trump, who seemingly misinterpreted the question Rove was asked.
“RINO Karl Rove, when asked on Fox & Friends this morning how to explain the tremendous success of the Republican Party, with millions of people joining it, and the Dems losing millions, was unable to give an answer. He just couldn’t utter the words, PRESIDENT DONALD J. TRUMP!” wrote Trump on Truth Social. “But that’s OK, the PEOPLE get it, and always have!!!”
Levin appeared to agree with Trump’s criticism of Rove, as he promoted Trump’s attack on his colleague on X.
This isn’t the first time Levin has attacked a Fox colleague on Trump’s behalf. Earlier this year, he unloaded on Fox News contributor Andy McCarthy for criticizing the Department of Justice for dismissing its criminal case against New York City Mayor Eric Adams (D), accusing McCarthy of being “hysterical.” He also called McCarthy’s argument that Trump ought to have been convicted at his post-January 6 impeachment trial “absurd.”
