Mediaite announced the launch of a new slate of personality-led YouTube channels on Monday — partnering with major names from cable news as part of a push to build out its creator-driven video network and stay ahead of the curve.

The move marks a big step in Mediaite founder Dan Abrams’s plan to bring trusted media voices directly to digital audiences. No network filter, no gatekeeping, just platform-first news and commentary built for the YouTube era.

Journalists Alisyn Camerota and Dave Briggs — both of whom have helmed major morning shows on CNN and Fox News — will co-host Sanity, a Mediaite-backed video podcast focused on “seeking answers to problems with curiosity, irreverence and an open-mind” in a “non-finger-wagging way.” Early signs suggest a hungry audience: The show’s subscriber count has already doubled in its first week on YouTube.

Meanwhile, ex-CNN Chief White House Correspondent turned social media juggernaut Jessica Yellin — whose News Not Noise project has built a community of over 1.3 million followers — is bringing her “explainer-first” journalism and show to the platform with Mediaite’s backing. The partnership includes strategic, promotional, and editorial support aimed at expanding her digital footprint even further.

“You don’t have to be a political extremist to see massive success on YouTube,” Abrams said. “Alisyn, Dave, and Jessica are engaging and trusted voices. We’re excited to help them connect directly with audiences who crave independent thinkers offering smart and maybe unpredictable conversation and analysis.”

The new creator-first initiative draws directly from Abrams’s proven blueprint at Law&Crime, which now dominates the true crime space on YouTube with over 7 million subscribers and billions of views.
