Rittenhouse Prosecution Gets Absolutely Destroyed After Stunning, Explosive Clash With Judge: ‘Holy Crap’ Do They ‘Look Stupid’
The prosecution in the Kyle Rittenhouse murder trial was roundly condemned on Twitter after the judge accused lead prosecutor Thomas Binger of attempting to provoke a mistrial.
Judge Bruce Schroeder of the Kenosha County Court sent the jury out of the courtroom during Wednesday’s trial to berate Binger for questioning Rittenhouse about his silence after his arrest.
Schroeder further accused Binger of inappropriately attempting to introduce testimony that had been excluded in a prior ruling.
“Why would you think that that made it okay for you without any advance notice to bring this matter before the jury?” Schroeder yelled. “You are already — I was astonished when you began your examination by commenting on the defendant’s post-arrest silence. That’s basic law. It’s been basic law in this country for 40 years, 50 years. I have no idea why you would do something like that.”
“This is a grave Constitutional violation to talk about the defendant’s silence. You are right on the borderline, you may be over. It better stop,” he continued.
The judge snapped at Binger when he attempted to respond, exclaiming, “Don’t get brazen with me!”
“I’m astonished that that would have been an issue,” he continued. “So I don’t want to have another issue, as long as this case continues, is that clear?”
Pundits were taken aback by the heated fallout, taking to Twitter to denounce Binger’s performance, some accusing him of “throwing the Rittenhouse case.”
This may be the most incompetent prosecution since, “Hey OJ, why don’t you try on this glove?”

Kyle Rittenhouse will be not guilty. The prosecution can’t do their job properly with this judge. It’s absolutely insane. That fucker deserves to be in jail.

Judge is still scathingly mad. Insists his ruling stands and the CVS video will not be admitted.
The whole ugly scene underscored a reality: The defense very likely won this trial weeks ago when that evidence was denied. The CVS video was crucial to the prosecution’s case. pic.twitter.com/bneHZ9xHqz

This clip pretty much summarizes how the Rittenhouse trial has gone for the prosecution so far https://t.co/tVRAiq1cJd

Judge furious with the line of questioning from prosecution

If Kyle is found not guilty there is no retrial. Not sure how the prosecution can present a fair trial with this bench.

Judge continues to yell at Binger. Prosecution wants to bring up a prior shooting where #Rittenhouse was w/friends, leaving a Walgreens and said that he wished he had his AR. Judge: “Don’t get brazen w/me!” to Binger.

Rittenhouse has been on the stand less than 2 hours and there have already been 2 references by the judge to a mistrial based on the prosecution’s line of questioning. #KyleRittenhouseTrial

Is the prosecution trying for a mistrial?
— Ashe Short (@AsheSchow) November 10, 2021
I’m guessing getting yelled at by a judge isn’t a good sign for your prosecution
— Christian Schneider (@Schneider_CM) November 10, 2021
This. Is. Wild.
This prosecution should be shown in law school classrooms as an example of what happens when you, a prosecutor, think your trial is a foregone conclusion and see no need to make basic preparations. https://t.co/q6jWhP4gjl

Embarrassing for the prosecution. Just a disaster.

Anybody got any other examples off the top of their head of a judge literally screaming at the prosecution
— Michael Tracey (@mtracey) November 10, 2021
Judge Schroeder is screaming at the prosecution and rarely letting him finish speaking.
The court reporter is literally asking them to slow down after much back and forth.#Rittenhouse

Judge is absolutely tearing into the prosecution right now.

Holy cow the judge in the Kyle Rittenhouse case is absolutely laying into the prosecution right now. https://t.co/QVkUwohNah

The prosecution seems to be throwing the Rittenhouse case.

I checked and I’ve said basically nothing on Rittenhouse as it’s one of those things I’m happy to let a jury figure out, but holy crap is this prosecution of him looking stupid.
