‘Scared Sh*tless!’ Ex-MSNBC Analyst Glenn Kirschner Says Trump Epstein Freakout Shows ‘Guilt’
Former federal prosecutor, ex-MSNBC legal analyst, and current video podcaster Glenn Kirschner told SiriusXM radio host Dean Obeidallah that President Donald Trump is “scared shitless” of the so-called “Epstein Files,” which shows “consciousness of guilt” on Trump’s part.
It has been almost three weeks since the Trump administration first tried to bury the promised mountain of information on deceased sex criminal Jeffrey Epstein, and the heat just keeps going up. At every turn, Trump’s efforts to quash the story have only intensified interest in it, and deepened Trump’s own association with it.
On Wednesday’s edition of The Dean Obeidallah Show, Kirschner said that the degree of Trump’s “panic” would indicate “consciousness of guilt” if he were a defendant, and he expects Trump to get worse:
DEAN OBEIDALLAH: Whatever is in there must be so bad that Donald Trump would even diss his own base, and at that time he wasn’t calling them stupid and weaklings. That was a week later. It got even worse, and he’s telling his base to shut the F up over and over and over.
There is a level of panic in him, and as a former federal prosecutor, let me ask, in your experience, what does it say when a potential defendant is just panicking like this?
GLENN KIRSCHNER: So there’s three words that we use and it’s a mantra when we’re arguing cases to a jury. When we see something like this, it’s called “consciousness of guilt.”.
When somebody, you don’t have to admit you committed the crime. If you show a consciousness of guilt in, you know, any one of a hundred ways, like Donald Trump is showing now, turning on his own supporters, telling them to shut up, telling them don’t be weaklings, even when MAGA Mike Johnson lost his mind for a moment, he was apparently let off the leash, Donald Trump’s leash, or maybe the leash was extended another 12 inches, and he said we need transparency in the Epstein case.
What did Donald Trump say about his lap dogs in Congress, his allies, his ride or die boys?
He said, y’all are “foolish and stupid.”.
I mean, talk about consciousness of guilt, Dean. Donald Trump knows what he did with Jeffrey Epstein for all those years. And Ghislaine Maxwell. And I hope we can touch on Todd Blanche being the first one from the Department of Justice to go talk to Ghislaine.
Oh, I have some thoughts about that.
But yeah, this is consciousness of guilt, Donald Trump is desperate. And scared shitless– I think shitless is a legal term. He’s scared shitless right now, and you know what, it’s gonna keep tumbling out, it just is.
