‘Trump Is An Adjudicated Rapist!’ James Carville Goes OFF In Rant Against Media ‘Normalizing’ Trump
Democratic strategist James Carville went off on a rant against the media “normalizing” former President Donald Trump — whom Carville snarled “is an adjudicated rapist!”
Trump’s defamation trial involving E. Jean Carroll — whom Trump was found liable by a New York jury for sexually abusing and defaming — concluded this week with a lot of fireworks and a gargantuan judgment against Trump.
Carville — who regularly posts what could only be described as hybrid political commentary/Cajun slam poetry for Politicon — referenced an earlier decision related to the case in arguing against treating Trump like an ordinary candidate.
“The finding that Ms. Carroll failed to prove that she was ‘raped’ within the meaning of the New York Penal Law does not mean that she failed to prove that Mr. Trump ‘raped’ her as many people commonly understand the word ‘rape.’ Indeed, as the evidence at trial recounted below makes clear, the jury found that Mr. Trump in fact did exactly that,” Kaplan wrote in denying an earlier motion in the case.
In a winding journey of a screed, Carville slammed reporters treating the campaign like a normal race and diligently taking notes from Trump surrogates:
JAMES CARVILLE: Common parlance of the word rape, the jury found that he raped this woman. That’s a fact. And every sentence ought to be Donald Trump: an adjudicated rapist.
Right. This is not normal. And everybody wants to show how in touch they are with the common man. Everybody wants to cover race everybody. And there’s just huge tendency to say, this is, Biden’s got a record, he’s got a vision. Trump’s got a record. He’s got a vision. Let’s go to post and see what happens. NO!

Mocking people who serve in the military is not fucking normal! And it shouldn’t be treated that way. At all. It’s not an alternative view. And we fallin’ in. We lapsing into it. We lapsing into it. Lapsin’ into it. You can see it.
The Jason Miller (indecipherable) holdin’ court with all of the reporters writing everything that he says down and, you know, going to lunch and, you know, it’s just just another campaign. It’s like being with Karl Rove.

Along the way, Carville managed to reference Pearl Harbor, Hamas, and Trump’s mockery of slain military veterans.
