Trump Marvels at Olympic Speedskater’s ‘Very Strong Legs’: ‘How Do I Get My Legs to Look Like That?’

President Donald Trump was amazed by Olympic speedskater Jordan Stolz’s physique on Thursday, namely his “very strong legs,” wondering, “How do I get my legs to look like that?”

The moment came during a White House reception for athletes who competed for Team USA in the 2026 Winter Olympics and Paralympic Games in Milano Cortina, Italy. The 22-year-old Stolz took home two golds and a silver, even setting Olympic records in the 500-meter and the 1000-meter events.

Surrounded by athletes, Trump said from his podium Thursday, “Also with us is the single-most decorated American Olympian from the 2026 games, speedskater Jordan Stolz, and I watched that one too. Legs — strong legs. Very strong legs. I said, ‘How do I get my legs to look like that?’ I don’t have any time to work like that. But you were amazing and historic.”

Notably, this isn’t the first time that the president has marveled at the appearances of male athletes.

In May, Trump complained that he wished he looked like “beautiful” NFL quarterback Jaxson Dart. “I said, ‘Is he a male model, or what?’ He’s a handsome guy, like a beautiful guy,” the president told Lara Trump in a Fox News interview. Also in May, he told a rally crowd that Dart had “legs like tree trunks.”

He also commented on professional golfer Bryson DeChambeau’s body during a May Oval Office presser, remarking, “He looked like a linebacker.”

That wasn’t all for the month of May, with the president directing the crowd at the U.S. Coast Guard Academy’s graduation ceremony to “look at the muscles on this guy.”

And in June, after accepting a commemorative gold medal from Stolz, Trump lamented, “I forgot to touch his leg… I can tell you one thing: his leg is like a rock.”
