Trump Spox Offers Up Puzzling Explanation for Viral Video of Objects Getting Tossed Out of Window at the White House

The White House has finally broken its silence about a viral video showing objects being tossed out of a White House window, albeit a puzzling response.

Social media was abuzz after the bizarre video was posted, with many wondering — both jokingly and seriously — what was going on inside President Donald Trump’s residence amid wild speculation about his health.

But later Tuesday, The Daily Wire’s Mary Margaret Olohan posted on X that a White House official told her the culprit was “a contractor doing regular maintenance while the President was gone.”

The explanation raises a few more questions than answers. For one, is the “contractor” breaking security protocol by opening a White House window, which former First Lady Michelle Obama noted was prohibited during a 2015 interview with Stephen Colbert on The Late Show?

Also, why would a contractor refrain from using a construction trash chute to protect the exterior walls of the White House?

The White House and the Secret Service have not responded to inquiries from Mediaite.
