‘We’re In Record Territory!’ Fox Anchor Maria Bartiromo Gushes About Stock Market After Blockbuster Close

Fox Business anchor Maria Bartiromo gushed about the stock market after a slew of recent gains, exclaiming, “We’re in record territory!”

While most politicians are relatively cautious about touting stock market gains, former President Donald Trump relentlessly and consistently bragged about the Dow’s performance while he was in office.

He also repeatedly predicted in 2020 that if President Joe Biden were elected, disaster would befall the market. He told a business roundtable in February of 2020:

Until the election is over, our market — it’s phenomenal, but our market will jump thousands and thousands of points, if I win. If I don’t win, you’re going to see a crash like you’ve never seen before.

Instead, the stock market has soared during the Biden administration and has been hitting records for weeks.

On Wednesday morning’s edition of Fox Business Network’s Mornings With Maria, Bartiromo raved about the latest blockbuster closes — then pivoted to Federal Reserve official Michelle Bowman expressing concern about core inflation not hitting their target:

Take a look at futures this morning, some selling pressure under way. Fractional moves, the Dow Industrials down eight, the Nasdaq down 33 and the S&P lower by three.

It’s still a victory given we’re in record territory!

The Dow and the S&P 500 closing in uncharted territory yesterday, with the Dow showing its 31st record close of the year at 42,208 at 4:00 on Wall Street, that was up 83 points.

The S&P 500 recording its 41st record close of the year, sitting at 5732 right now on the S&P. That’s up 15 yesterday.

And the Nasdaq was up 100 points at 4:00 on Wall Street. Another rally yesterday.

As Federal Reserve Governor Michelle Bowman spoke yesterday to the Kentucky Bankers Association about the future of monetary policy, saying, quote, “Core inflation remains uncomfortably above our 2% target. I will remain cautious in my approach to adjusting the stance of policy going forward.”.
