Woman Shot Outside CIA Hours After Couple Gunned Down in Front of Jewish Museum

A woman was shot at the front gate of CIA headquarters in a “security incident,” just hours after the tragic murder of Israeli embassy staffers in front of Washington’s Jewish Museum.

Security officials fired at the woman after she at the agency’s McLean, VA, headquarters in the early morning hours of Thursday.

The shooting was classified as a “security incident,” NBC News reported.

“The front gate at Headquarters is closed until further notice,” the agency said in an X post. Please use alternate routes for Thursday, May 22nd.”

The woman, who was not identified, was taken to a hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.

The shooting came just a few hours after a young Israeli couple was shot and killed outside the Capital Jewish Museum in D.C.

Yaron Lischinsky and Sarah Milgrim, a pair of Israeli embassy staffers who were about to be engaged, were shot by Chicago resident Elias Rodriguez, 30, after an event at the museum Wednesday night.
