‘Profoundly Disturbing’: Major Podcast Under Fire for Shock Conversation Blaming the Jews for the Holocaust

A shock discussion from Myron Gaines’s Fresh and Fit podcast went viral this week and was widely condemned for its open embrace of anti-Semitic language and tropes – including blaming the Jews for Adolf Hitler targeting them in the Holocaust.
The discussion was part of a live stream on right-leaning video platform Rumble, which has since removed the full video. The clip, however, went viral as it was shared by various anti-Semitism watchdog groups and critics appalled by its contents.
Rep. Ritchie Torres (D-NY) shared part of the discussion and wrote, “It is profoundly disturbing to see young social media influencers casually rationalize Hitler and the Nazi regime’s systematic extermination of six million Jews during the Holocaust. The only thing more terrifying than Holocaust denial is Holocaust glorification.”
“The comfort with which these commentators defend the most evil man ever to roam the earth should send chills down the spine of every decent person,” Torres concluded. Torres has been staunchly pro-Israel as a member of Congress and has called out what he sees as anti-Semitism on both sides of the political spectrum, including from progressive streamer Hasan Piker – who he dubbed “the poster child for the post-October 7th outbreak of antisemitism in America.”
In the clip, a group of young people discuss world Jewry and at one point, one says, “They were up to something so the Germans wanted to take them out.”
“The Holocaust was the only way [Hitler could] take out a huge amount of Jews all in one setting. I already know what’s going on. I’m not dumb. The Jews did something there,” added the panelist. The rest of the group quickly agreed as Gaines, who has long been accused of promoting anti-Semitism and misogyny, sat back smiling. The stunning exchange ended with others saying, “We need to take them out” and “We got to kill the motherfuckers.”
The Fresh and Fit podcast has nearly 1.6 million followers on YouTube, where it has been demonetized in the past, and some 372,000 followers on Rumble.
