CBS Denied Caitlyn Jenner Request to Attend Democratic Debate

PicMonkey Collage - Jenner 2According to a report from The LA Times, reality star and athlete Caitlyn Jenner asked to be given tickets to the Democratic debate Sunday, but was denied by the president of CBS News himself.

“Caitlyn Jenner, who as Bruce Jenner was a Drake Relays champion in 1976, was in Des Moines visiting the university campus with her reality show producers,” the Times reports “Although a Republican, she asked for a ticket to the debate.”

Although a somewhat simple request, Jenner’s query went all the way up the chain of command to be considered by CBS News President David Rhodes. “Our person told her person that we don’t have any tickets left, which happens to be factual,” he told the Times.

The Call Me Caitlyn star tried to get in the debate anyway, but couldn’t talk her way into the hall for the event itself. Instead, Jenner  had to watch it on television like the rest of us plebeians.

Jenner told the Times she wasn’t impressed by the Democratic candidates. “They didn’t convince me,” she said.
