Philly Paper Nails Cowboys-JFK Assassination Pun You Were Working on All Night

 

Pissed off about that reversed pass interference call that maybe allowed the Dallas Cowboys to not-lose to the Detroit Lions last night, but unsure of the exact #hottake method of expressing it? The Philadelphia Daily News is ON IT:

“Just like that,” the paper wrote, “the 2015 playoffs had their hanging chad; their grassy knoll; their Illuminati; and that spooky pyramid eye.”

Actually, being the site of the Kennedy assassination depressed Dallas’ economy and overall morale for well over a decade until the Cowboys’ 70s resurgence refreshed the town.
