Required Reading: Saving Newspapers With Great Design

Despite only having a background in architecture Jacek Utko approached newspaper design in Eastern Europe with a completely fresh and outsider’s perspective. His redesigns were not just revolutionary, but they helped increase circulation rather dramatically. As the last line in the summary of his talk on TED.com reads “Can good design save the newspaper? It just might.”
This is from back in March, but we stumbled across today and it’s worth a watch.
