Charles Barkley TRASHES ‘Rat-Infested’ San Francisco for Second Straight Year While Vowing to Skip NBA All-Star Game

NBA Legend Charles Barkley trashed San Francisco as “rat-infested” Thursday night on Inside the NBA while vowing to skip this year’s All-Star game.

Barkley said the city’s “rats” and “cats” would keep him home while his chuckling co-hosts pleaded with him to show the city some mercy.

While discussing a stellar year for Detroit Pistons point guard Cade Cunningham, Barkley said he anticipated the 23-year-old would play in the Bay Area next month.

Barkley clarified he would not attend the game in person as he blasted San Francisco for a second straight year.

“He’s going to make the All-Star Team,” Barkley said of Cunningham as Ernie Johnson commented on some of the star’s highlights. “I’m not going. I’m not going to that rat-infested place out in San Francisco.”

Johnson shot back, “Oh stop, man! Just look at the highlights.”

Barkley doubled down once San Frabncscio was called “beautiful.”

“San Francisco is not a beautiful city,” he said. “Rats. Cats. Y’all are not gonna make me like San Francisco. Nope, nope, nope.”

Johnson said “I know, just keep it to yourself.”

Barkley grabbed headlines last year during the All-Star game when he said a “bulletproof vest” was needed to safely walk the streets of San Francisco.

During TNT’s coverage of the game, Barkley asked Indiana Pacers legend Reggie Miller if he would play his career in Indianapolis again if given a chance or if he would bolt to Northern California to be “around a bunch of homeless crooks in San Francisco.”

After Golden State Warriors center Draymond Green and others defended the city, Barkley unleashed.

“You can’t even walk around down there,” Barkley said – drawing a rebuttal from Green.

Barkley concluded, “Yeah, with a bulletproof vest.”
