‘That’s Now 3 TD Passes You Bum’: ESPN Analyst Louis Riddick Rips Twitter User After QB Will Levis Proves Him Right With Stellar Performance

ESPN analyst Louis Riddick got the last laugh on Twitter thanks to an impressive debut by Tennessee Titans quarterback Will Levis.
Levis is best known for falling to the second round of the 2023 NFL Draft after being projected to be among the first QBs taken. The scenes of Levis uncomfortably waiting for his name to be called were similar to the 2005 draft in which Aaron Rodgers fell to the 24th overall pick.
Due to the injury of regular starter Ryan Tannehill, Levis got his first career start against the Atlanta Falcons on Sunday. He completed 19 of 29 passes for 238 yards and a remarkable four touchdowns. For a debut, it couldn’t have gone much better.
On Oct. 24, a Twitter user criticized Riddick for suggesting the Falcons trade QB Desmond Ridder for Levis. The person argued that Ridder was the right choice for the Falcons because the team was first in the NFC South at the time. Meanwhile, Levis was listed third on the depth chart behind Tannehill and Malik Willis.
During Sunday’s game, Ridder was benched while Levis shined, and Riddick made sure the critic knew it.
“Update: ‘Meanwhile coming out of the half, Ridder has been benched in favor of Taylor Heinicke,'” Riddick tweeted to the person. “‘Levis, in his first career start as a ROOKIE, has thrown for 2 TD’s, and the Titans are winning.'”
Included in the tweet was a clown emoji.

As previously mentioned, Levis wasn’t done. When the rookie threw his third touchdown, Riddick was back to once again remind the user just how wrong they were.
“UPDATE: that’s now 3 TD passes you bum,” he said.
Going into Sunday’s game, the Titans originally planned on having Levis and Willis alternate snaps at QB. When Willis lost a fumble on the team’s first offensive drive, however, that plan was abandoned and Levis played the rest of the game. He’s now expected to start in Thursday’s game against the Pittsburgh Steelers.
