‘This Might Be the Worst Game I’ve Ever Watched’: TNT Crew Savages Miami Heat at Halftime Amid Ludicrous Blowout

The guys at Inside the NBA did not hold back on the Miami Heat, who turned in an all-time clunker in a must-win game against the Cleveland Cavaliers on Monday night.

As the one seed, Cleveland was heavily favored facing a Miami team that went just 37-45 in the regular season. The Heat dropped the first three games of their opening series against the Cavs, and so they had to win game four to stay alive. However, of all the things that never happened, Miami winning Game 4 never happened the most.

At halftime, Cleveland led Miami 72-33 on the Heat’s home court.

“Turn it off now,” Shaquille O’Neal implored during TNT’s halftime show.

“This reminds me of a karate movie when a guy comes into the town and just starts beating everybody up,” Kenny Smith said. “Pow! Pow!”

“This might be the worst game I’ve ever watched,” Ernie Johnson chimed in.

“Ernie,” Charles Barkley began solemnly. “I try not to ever use the word ‘quit’ or ‘choke.’ I’m very seldom using [it]. This is quitting at its finest right here. It’s like, I bet if we went to their house, all their stuff is already packed.”

“Well, no,” Smith said. “It is not packed. They already live in Miami.”

“No!” Barkley protested. “They lost by 38 the last game. You can’t stay in Miami! You lost by 38, you’re down 40 at halftime!

“They actually lost by 37,” Johnson noted.

“Ok, my bad,” Barkley said. “If you lose by 37 and then come back and lose by 40, you can’t stay in town. You know better.”

Johnson replied by noting that Miami’s Bam Adebayo said his team was going to “go down swinging.”

Barkley roasted the comment by making futile swinging gestures at Smith, who responded with mock karate chops.

Cleveland won the game 138-83.
