All Of Fox’s The Five Want President Obama To Give Bill Maher His Money Back
This past week, The Five managed something pretty impressive. They discussed every single angle of the Rush Limbaugh/Sandra Fluke scandal…without ever saying Limbaugh’s name. No, to them, the story was all about Fluke, Fluke, Fluke. How she was “entitled,” how she was possibly a Democratic “plant,” how, if she had a problem with Georgetown’s policy, she should have just gone to another school. Somehow, the whole “slut” controversy was only broached without ever bringing friend of the show Limbaugh into the conversation. In fact, I looked back and the only time his name has been mentioned in the past few days was once, in the last minute of the show, way after the actual subject was discussed, when Bob Beckel said it was time for us to forgive Limbaugh and move on. Well, today things were totally different as The Five launched into a full on attack on a media figure for his dirty, sexist comments. That media figure, of course, was Bill Maher.
For an entire segment, everyone on the panel except for Juan Williams trashed that dirty pig Maher. They talked about how disgusting he was and how people can “get away with murder” as long as they believe the right things (aka evil liberal beliefs). And they all agreed that it would be a super awesome PR move for President Obama to somehow force his Super PAC (which, if all can remember, he legally isn’t actually allowed to be involved with or so the Citizens United ruling claims) to give Maher his money back.
It’s times like this that I’m so glad that all of our nation is so divided and hateful. We need to be split into two teams because, if we weren’t, we’d never know when anyone did anything bad. After all, the liberals will never call out their idols and the conservatives will never call out their’s.
It’s this kind of biased, selective outrage that makes our country great!
