Billy Eichner Wants to Flame Broil Burger King for Ripping Off His Act
Comedian Billy Eichner wants to put Burger King over a flame and broil it after the fast food joint allegedly ripped off his Billy on the Street routine for a new ad.
The commercial, which aired Sunday evening during Fox’s football coverage, features a frenzied host frenetically asking a pair of teens about a 10-piece nugget box, which costs $1.49. When that amazing price was revealed, the host and his interviewees both let out a shout, akin to how Eichner yells at his subjects and quickly moves along on the street.
Whether or not the ad was directly ripped from Billy on the Street is up for debate, but Eicher took to Twitter to bash the company and ask his followers to do the same:
Hey @BurgerKing-thanks for stealing my act for ur new commercial!! Except its not as funny & everyone knows u stole it. GET YOUR OWN IDEAS.

Please tweet @BurgerKing & tell them to stop stealing from #BillyOntheStreet. Then I'm going over there & I'm gonna FLAME BROIL HIS DICK.

Other comedians got in on the act as well:
Yo @BurgerKing, stop stealing from the hilarious @billyeichner and stick to what you're good at: giving me diarrhea.
