Canadian Soldier Shot While Guarding Memorial Has Reportedly Died
According to two members of Canadian Parliament, the military member shot earlier Wednesday has died from his injuries. CTV confirmed the news as well.
The unidentified soldier was guarding the National War Memorial in Ottawa when he was shot by a perpetrator reportedly on the loose. Minutes later, dozens of shots rang in the halls of Parliament.
CNN’s Jake Tapper broke the news on the soldier’s passing, via two MPs:
