Chaz The Intolerant Chicken Wishes You A Happy Chick-Fil-A Appreciation Day
In the lead-up to commemorating Mike Huckabee‘s “Chick-fil-A Appreciation Day” today, TBS host Conan O’Brien has introduced a new character: Chaz the Intolerant Chicken.
First introduced last week after the Jim Henson Co. announced it would no longer be working with the chicken chain following its CEO’s comments about same-sex marriage, Chaz is an outspoken fowl who believes, for example, that “the only pickle a guy should put in his mouth is our Chick-fil-A Classic.”
Here he is explaining the restaurant’s yummy menu options:
Then, this week, Chaz returned to impart some more lightly battered nuggets of wisdom, like this one for the ladies: “The only sweet cherry you should be licking is on top of our Cookie Sundae.” Just wait ’til you hear his pitch for the restaurant’s sausage burrito — it’s enough to “make the Devil giggle:”
