Chris Jansing Leaving MSNBC Show for NBC Nightly News
MSNBC host Chris Jansing is leaving her MSNBC show Jansing & Co. to join NBC Nightly News political reporting team, according to a report in Politico. She will move to Washington D.C. from New York City and will become NBC News Senior White House Correspondent. She joins NBC’s Peter Alexander who has also been promoted to NBC News’ National Correspondent.
“Chris Jansing has played an invaluable role at MSNBC for the better part of the past 15 years,” read an internal announcement from MSNBC President Phil Griffin. “Our heartfelt congratulations to Chris on this exciting new role. We look forward to seeing her reporting from Washington on MSNBC”
“We’ll have more to say about Chris’ replacement at 10 am in the coming weeks,” Griffin’s memo closed.
