Christie Shuts Down Heckler with Brilliant Name Dropping

New Jersey Gov. Chris Christie (R) got into one of his heated back-and-forths at a Tuesday town hall in New Jersey. The topic of contention: whether singer Bruce Springsteen asked Christie to stop using his music during public appearances.
“I thought I heard that Bruce asked that none of his music was played at your events because he didn’t believe in your politics,” the woman said to Christie.
“You’re wrong,” Christie responded. “In fact, I saw Bruce just a week and a half ago.”
The woman retorted, becoming more heckle-ish: “You were dancing with Bon Jovi, maybe, in the Hamptons…”
“Well, no, that I was doing this weekend,” Christie said. “I was dancing with Jamie Foxx. So, if you’re gonna be cute, we should get the story right.”
(It’s true; Christie was dancing with Jamie Foxx in the Hamptons.)
Christie went on to say that he knows “Bruce.”
