Admittedly, the entire Sen. Orrin Hatch–Sonia Sotomayor exchange about Maloney vs. Cuomo was pretty ridiculous (it involved a lot of conversation about what exactly “nunchucks” are).

Now to be fair, there’s a lot of ways to translate “Nunchaku” into English. But sorry CNN, we don’t think your way counts.

That would be “numchunks.”

We haven’t even gotten through a half-day of the Sotomayor Q&A – expect more chyrons of interest.
