CNN Panel Wonders: What’s Up with Kim Jong-un’s Freaky Eyebrows?

The question on CNN’s mind this Friday afternoon: What’s up with Kim Jong-un‘s thinning eyebrows?

The Daily Caller first spotted a clip from today’s Situation Room, in which Brianna Keilar posed the following question to her guests:

Maybe this is nothing, but I know a lot of people have noticed that Kim Jong-un’s appearance has altered a little bit lately. His eyebrows have become much narrower. Is there any symbolism to this change in look or is it just an aesthetic change that we shouldn’t read into?

The gang then spent 90-plus seconds on the question, seemingly agreeing that the eyebrows may actually be important given the legacy of Kim il-Sung‘s unique looks and how that affects a leader’s legitimacy. The conversation was accompanied by an awesome lil’ zoom-in on Kim’s eyebrows for full effect.
