CNN’s Ashleigh Banfield Bashes Fox’s Outnumbered: ‘Not as Smart’ as My Show

The CNN show’s host Ashleigh Banfield has been incorporating Periscope live-streaming into her audience outreach, often filming off-air banter with guests and taking questions from viewers. On Tuesday, one of those viewers asked “Why aren’t you watching Outnumbered?” and Banfield responded as such:

“Why are you not watching Outnumbered?” Because it’s not as smart as this show, guys. That’s just the way it is. I mean, you can have coffee clash and chat about stories, or you can learn stuff from smart folk, and you’re look at two of the smartest ones right there.

She pointed the iPhone at her two guests currently on-set.
