CNN’s Baldwin and Rick Wilson Pummel Ex-Trump Aide For Denying Stormy Affair: ‘Don’t Embarrass Yourself’

Republican strategist Rick Wilson and CNN’s Brooke Baldwin slammed former Trump adviser Jason Miller this afternoon in a heated spat over the tapes a former Forbes reporter shared of what sounds like Donald Trump as “John Barron” bragging about his wealth.

Miller said this whole thing is “a little funny to begin with,” while adding that “everybody games the Forbes list.”

He also questioned whether people should be “taking this reporter as if they have the facts.”

“They have a tape, Jason,” Wilson shot back, before continuing:

“This is a President who is a known serial, congenital liar and fabulist. There is nothing that comes out of this man’s mouth that you can count on, including the color of the sky or the time of day. He is a guy who has been rated as having told over 2000 lies in his first year in office. There’s nothing about Donald Trump you should take for granted… Everything’s going to always be filtered through this bullshit prism of his––sorry––where he believes that whatever he says about himself is an actual fact, and it’s just not the truth.”

Baldwin also noted how Miller’s dismissing bad behavior from Trump because it was in the past, including on the Stormy Daniels affair. Miller brought up the President’s denial of an affair, to which Baldwin asked, “When did he ever say that himself publicly?”

Miller said Trump has said it “over and over.” Baldwin and Wilson were very confused by this claim.

“Jason,” Baldwin interjected, “we’re functioning in a world of the truth. You’re not telling the truth. The President has never publicly said ‘I didn’t do this.'”

Miller brought up what the White House has said, arguing they’re speaking for the President on this matter. Wilson said Miller was acting naive because Michael Cohen’s job was to “handle the bimbo eruptions.”

“Don’t embarrass yourself by defending the indefensible,” Wilson said. “This is gonna all come out, man! It’s gonna all come out. And you’re gonna be sitting there holding the stinky end of the stick, brother.”
