CNN’s Donna Brazile Jumps the Gun: Michael Brown Was ‘Murdered’

CNN contributor Donna Brazile may have let her own personal feelings about the Michael Brown shooting case seep through Monday night, just two hours before the grand jury in Ferguson is scheduled to announce its decision.
“I’m a little baffled about the timing. Why so late?” Brazile asked of the prosecutor’s decision to release the news at 8 p.m. local time (9 p.m. ET) instead of the following morning.
“I’m also concerned that some of the messages that you’re hearing — these are peaceful protesters by and large. These are members of the community. Something was clearly broken before Michael Brown was shot and murdered. And tonight, Wolf, this is a very tense moment. And I just thought, they’re making a mess out of it once again.”
Rather than correct Brazile’s assessment that Brown was “murdered” by Officer Darren Wilson — that’s what the grand jury and potential trial are supposed to determine — Wolf Blitzer posed the same question about timing to his next guest, Jeffrey Toobin.
