Darrell Issa to Jonathan Gruber: ‘Are You Stupid?’

House Oversight Committee Chairman Darrell Issa (R-CA) finally got a chance to question Obamacare maybetect Jonathan Gruber, who famously called some Americans stupid in video recently released, and he didn’t waste it.

“The night before last I was at the Kennedy Center Honors, where they honored Tom Hanks, famously Forrest Gump, the ultimate in successful stupid men,” Issa began. “Are you stupid?”

“I don’t think so, no,” Gruber replied.

“Does MIT employ stupid people?”

“Not to my knowledge,” Gruber said.

“So you’re a smart man who said some stupid things,” Issa summarized.

The two then enacted the fundamental partisan separation of reality that it is the Obamacare debate.
