Did Bernie Sanders Secretly Play George Steinbrenner on Seinfeld?

Everyone knows that Larry David played the voice of Yankees owner George Steinbrenner on Seinfeld. But there is apparently a contingent of conspiracy theorists on the internet who believe it was actually Sen. Bernie Sanders (I-VT).

So when the democratic socialist and possible 2016 presidential candidate appeared on Bloomberg Politics’ With All Due Respect this week, hosts Mark Halperin and John Heilemann asked Sanders to do his best reading of the appropriately-chosen line from the series: “George, the word around the office is that you’re a Communist.”
