Donald Trump Threatens to Pull Out of Tonight’s CNN Town Hall

Republican frontrunner Donald Trump, who is quicker to pull out than a devoutly Catholic porn star, has once again shocked the world by threatening to abandon CNN’s planned town hall telecast Tuesday night. Unhappy with the network’s choices in guests, Trump issued the following threat via his well-worn Twitter feed Tuesday morning:

Wow, @CNN has nothing but my opponents on their shows. Really one-sided and unfair reporting. Maybe I shouldn’t do their town-hall tonight!

Trump has managed to leverage threats like these in the past, and even made good on one recently, but after a week of dreadful press about his feud with Ted Cruz and his sub-IHOP understanding of foreign policy, the CNN event could offer him a chance to gain some ground before the crucial Wisconsin primary. His failure to appear would leave a clear field for Ted Cruz and John Kasich, in a state where Trump badly needs a win to put Cruz away.
