Glenn Beck on Redskins Owner Dan Snyder: ‘I Love This Man’

It’s hard to tell which moment will be more memorable when all is said and done: when NFL Redskins owner Dan Snyder was seen with the president of the Navajo Nation in the owner’s box during a football game last Sunday, or when Glenn Beck is seen sitting in that same spot this Sunday.

A YouTube video uploaded Tuesday by Beck’s company TheBlaze shows Beck and some of his staff talking about a few current events, including Snyder’s meeting with the Navajo Nation president over the weekend. “Do you know who’s going to be in the owner’s box Sunday wearing a Redskins hat?” Beck asks his staff. “Glenn Beck,” they say as he nods his head yes.

“I might even wear the headdress,” Beck joked.

Beck then mused whether his sitting in the owner’s box will “hurt” himself or Snyder more.

“I love the guy,” Beck said. “I don’t know anything about him. Somebody should get me some research on him so I know about him. Because I’m certainly not going to be talking to him about football.”

Snyder has been under pressure to change the name of his team with critics claiming that it’s a slur against Native Americans. Snyder, however, has held firm that he will not be changing the name.
