GMA’s Josh Elliott Wants Robin Roberts-Sized Raise

Good Morning America’s Robin Roberts just received a $14 million raise, and now her coworkers want one too. The New York Post reports that Josh Elliott wants “an equally significant bump in salary,” too.

Elliott’s agents have reportedly floated the idea of the anchor moving to NBC News, but stressed that their priority — and the network’s priority — is in keeping him at ABC News. A source told the post that Josh, an “integral part of the success of the show…is not asking for as much money as Robin, but an equivalent raise.”

ABC confirmed that negotiations were ongoing and admitted “that there is a lot of interest from other networks.”

“He is an important part of the GMA family, and we want him to stay part of the family,” an ABC News spokesperson said.
