Hillary to ABC: Using Private Server ‘Was a Mistake’ and ‘I’m Sorry’

In a preview clip of her forthcoming interview with ABC News anchor David Muir, Democratic presidential candidate Hillary Clinton appears to apologize for the use of a private email server while she served as Secretary of State.

“That was a mistake. I’m sorry about that. I take responsibility,” Clinton told Muir in the 7-second clip posted to Twitter by ABC World News Tonight on Tuesday afternoon. Muir’s question that prompts the apology for Clinton was left out of the clip, leading us to wonder what exactly she was apologizing for, just one day after she said she doesn’t need to apologize for the server.

The entire conversation airs at 6:30 p.m. ET and again, during Nightline, at 12:30 a.m. ET. We will know more then.

Rest assured, Mediaite will have coverage of the full interview after it airs.
