Hot Off Fiery Senate Hearing, RFK Jr. Revealed To Be ‘Most Popular’ Trump Official Among Shockingly Unpopular Cabinet

CNN chief data analyst Harry Enten revealed Health and Human Services Secretary Robert F. Kennedy Jr. is America’s favorite among President Donald Trump’s “key officials” — though the numbers for all are in the negative.

On Thursday, Enten joined CNN anchor John Berman as Kennedy went through a fiery hearing with the Senate Finance Committee. Enten reported that despite Kennedy’s controversial vaccine skepticism and moves to influence the CDC he remains more popular than others in the administration.

Kennedy faced heated questions at Thursday’s hearing, which was fresh off the departure of CDC Director Susan Monarez and other agency officials. Monarez accused Kennedy of pressuring her to go along with his new vaccine guidances even if they went against scientific evidence, something he denied during the hearing.

“You know, Harry, it’s interesting all morning long. I’ve been saying Secretary Kennedy could be the most embattled member of the cabinet. Fact check me here,” Berman told Enten.

“No, I think that’s a false, that’s a false — that’s a Daniel Dale fact check for you. False on that,” Enten said.

The data reporter pulled up aggregate polling that showed key officials like Vice President JD Vance, Secretary of Defense Pete Hegseth, and Secretary of State Marco Rubio all have negative favorability ratings, but Kennedy averages out above all of them.

“RFK Jr. ain’t exactly popular, but he’s the most popular of all the key officials that we have recent polling on,” Enten said.

According to the aggregate data, Kennedy has a negative seven point favorability rating, compared to negative 10, 11, and 14 for Rubio, Vance, and Hegseth, respectively.

“So no, RFK Jr. is not a drag on President Trump. He’s not the most embattled,” Enten said. “In fact, he is the most popular official in Trump’s cabinet, at least according to the polling.”
