Jennifer Lopez Shows A Whole Lot Of Leg, Pokes Fun At CBS ‘Wardrobe Advisory’
At tonight’s Grammy Awards, Jennifer Lopez appeared in a much more conservative gown than usual (albeit showing a whole leg, Angelina Jolie style), joking with co-presenter Pitbull that she did, indeed, get the CBS “memo” on appropriate wardrobe for this year’s ceremony.
On Wednesday, a leaked CBS internal memo warned Grammy talent to avoid exposing female breasts, bottoms, genitals, or even organization-supporting pendants.
In 2000, Lopez famously made headlines at the Grammys when she wore a green Versace dress with a plunging neckline, exposing much of her cleavage down to her stomach. Appearing on stage to present the award for “Best Solo Performance,” Lopez donned a black dress, with one leg exposed, that was much less revealing.
“As you can see, I read the memo,” Lopez joked.
“You look beautiful, you look gorgeous, and you inspired the memo,” Pitbull replied.
“Whatever you’re wearing, or not wearing, this party is worldwide,” Lopez said before launching into presenting the award.
