Jesse Watters Admits He’s Not ‘Fazed’ by Ossoff Jab Because Trump Says ‘Much More Sleazy Things’

Fox News’ Jesse Watters admitted on Tuesday that he’s not “fazed” by Sen. Jon Ossoff’s (D-GA) dig at President Donald Trump’s close relationship with aide Natalie Harp because the president has said “much more sleazy things.”

The Georgia senator, who is running for re-election in November, sparked an uproar among MAGA supporters after calling out Harp by name during a Sunday rally.

“He golfs and trades stocks,” Ossoff said of Trump over the weekend. “See, he doesn’t want to do the job; he wants to build his ballroom and travel with Natalie to their apparently defenseless flying palace gifted by the Emir of Qatar.”

On Tuesday’s edition of The Five, Fox News’ Dana Perino said to Watters, “It wasn’t a quip that just came rolling off the tongue. It was written into the speech.” Notably, the segment’s chyron read “SEXIST SMEAR.”

Watters responded, “Yeah, I mean, Natalie had bone cancer, and Trump saved her life.” Here, he’s referring to Harp’s claim that the Right to Try Act, which Trump signed into law in 2018, allowed her to access an experimental treatment she credits with saving her life.

The Fox News host continued:

To suggest that Trump surrounds himself with attractive women — I mean, yeah. He’s done that his whole life. I don’t think he’s very upset about the comment. Uh, am I fazed by this comment? No. Has Trump said so much worse? So much more sleazy things against other people? Yes! Have I defended those things? Absolutely!

So, I’m not gonna pretend I’m all hot and bothered about it, and the president doesn’t even care. He’s like, “What? Who? Who? Pee-Wee Herman? Next.”

While answering questions from reporters in the Oval Office on Monday, Trump defended himself against Ossoff’s comments, calling the senator “Pee-Wee Herman” and insisting, “I would much rather do other things,” while still citing his construction projects at the White House.
