Jimmy Fallon Predicts ‘Crazy’ Twist in Mystery of Melania Trump’s Whereabouts

Jimmy Fallon floated a “crazy” theory for why First Lady Melania Trump has seemingly vanished from public view, one involving President Donald Trump and a particularly unlikely Republican romantic rival.

While the media spotlight is on Trump’s relationship to aide Natalie Harp after a viral jab by Senator Jon Ossoff (D-GA) on Sunday, the late-night host pivoted to the president’s wife.

“Over the weekend, President Trump made a campaign stop in Long Island and Melania Trump did not travel with him,” Fallon told his audience. “Yep, people have noticed that she’s been laying low. In fact, she hasn’t been seen in public in 29 days.”

He continued: “Trump heard and was like, ‘Big deal. I haven’t seen her in private for two years.”

Rounding on reports of the president’s secret Air Force One plane swap in July, he added: “I understand Melania’s taken a step back, with everything going on, she’s worried at any moment she could be trapped with Trump inside a catering truck.”

But Fallon continued: “Yep, no one has seen Melania. All I know is that it’s going to be crazy when we find out she ran off with Mitch McConnell.”

McConnell, of course, has been notably absent from view since June, with information on his recovery disputed and scant, when he was reportedly hospitalized after a medical incident.
