Karl Rove Rips ‘Pathetic’ Dems for Refusing to Accept Election Results

Fox contributor Karl Rove has very little patience for the people who “piously” lectured Donald Trump about accepting the election results, yet cannot seem to practice what they preach.

The former White House Chief of Staff discussed the mounting pressure to get Electoral College members to vote against Trump with Bill Hemmer on Monday’s America’s Newsroom. Rove said that there should be an investigation into Russia’s cyber activities, though he was quite disapproving about those who blame Vladimir Putin‘s election hacking yet cannot recognize that Hillary Clinton was a flawed candidate with an ineffective campaign.

“They’re blaming the Russians for the failure of the Clinton campaign to actually have a campaign,” Rove said. “I thought it was pathetic yesterday that after piously lecturing the American people that Donald Trump ought to accept the outcome of the election, that they are now not accepting the outcome of the election.”

Rove went on to say that the Left is wasting time by continuing to blame various people and political developments, rather than trying to improve for future elections. He suggested that anti-Trump protests will continue in order to drum up support while delegitimizing the president-elect. He added that the party won’t truly heal until it realizes how and why it lost.
