Lexi Thompson Has No Problem with Topless Golf Digest Cover
LPGA golfer Lexi Thompson was untroubled by the Golf Digest cover that showed her topless, covered only by a jacket. The cover sparked Twitter outrage last week over its sexualized portrayal of a female athlete, especially as Golf Digest has sought fit to clothe its male subjects:

“I have more clothes in that picture than a lot of the girls that go to the beach,” Thompson told Fox & Friends Tuesday morning. “I have shoes on, I have shorts on and I have jacket covering me.”
“But it is a fitness issue,” Thomspon continued. “We shot a lot of different looks. That’s the one they chose for Golf Digest. I’m happy with it.”
Co-host Elisabeth Hasselbeck didn’t understand the criticism, believing the cover “showed a strong woman who is beautiful and great at her sport.”
