Local News Blooper: Weatherman Not Thrilled About Sounds On Set

There’s nothing more annoying than trying to do something in front of the camera and having someone on set distracting you. So, you’ve got to feel for KECI’s Mark Heyka. He was trying to do the weather and people were making loud noises. Still, if you’re going to mock their loud noises with your own loud noises, it’s best to remember that you’re the one being recorded…

Really, I think there are two explanations for how this happened. Either Heyka didn’t know it was going out live, or this was recorded earlier and they played the wrong tape (similar to the “I’m stupid” incident from last week). If it’s the second, I feel even worse for Heyka. Either way, I’m super impressed with the anchorwoman. How does she not even crack a smile? Now, that is professionalism.

Anyway, if Heyka is embarrassed, he can just remember that, in the world of on-camera talent getting annoyed with off-camera crew, it could have been much, much worse.
