Mark Levin Trashes Jon Stewart’s ‘Putrid’ Israel Bit and ‘Clapping Seal Audience’
Last week Mark Levin went on a tear against Jon Stewart for a piece of Israel commentary that led him to call Stewart a “twerp.” Levin joined Sean Hannity on his Fox News show tonight to repeat his criticisms of Stewart, saying the “disinformation and… propaganda he was putting out in the form of jokes is outrageous.”
Stewart indirectly responded to Levin and other critics yesterday by having Daily Show correspondents yell at him every time he tried bringing up Israel. Levin rolled his eyes at Stewart’s humor, and remarked that it “doesn’t really take a lot of courage to criticize Israel.”
He told Hannity, “I don’t think he’s funny, I don’t think he’s smart… [but] this particular segment was really putrid.” As the segment continued, he said, “I would like to educate Jon Stewart and his clapping seal audience,” concluding with, “Read up, Ivy league boy!”
