Megyn Kelly Reveals How She Managed to Score Interview with Bill Ayers

Megyn Kelly appeared on The Five to tease her big interview with Bill Ayers and revealed exactly how she managed to score a sitdown with the former leader of the Weather Underground. In the preview clip they showed, Kelly confronted Ayers about his involvement in multiple bombings and how people could have been killed.

Kelly explained that she wanted to invite Ayers on for a debate, and for whatever reason, he agreed to appear on Fox News. She said that the interview got so tense, that “you could hear a pin drop in that studio” by the end of it, and told The Five hosts he is “an expert at defending his actions” and wanted to make sure he didn’t drag her down a philosophical rabbit hole.

Kelly shared some details of what Ayers told her, like the actions he was willing to accept personal responsibility for, and revealed she also asked Ayers about his relationship with President Obama. She also said Ayers, in justifying himself, sounded a little like Adolf Hitler.

The interview airs on Kelly’s show tonight at 9 P.M. EST. Mediaite will have full coverage of the interview.
