‘Mind Boggling!’ Fox News Hosts Roast Tim Walz’s TikToker Daughter For Declaring Jogging ‘Privileged, Political Act’

Friday’s Outnumbered panel tried to make heads or tails of Hope Walz’s “mind boggling” rant about jogging being a “political” and “privileged” act after she slammed an influencer’s White House visit.

Hope Walz, the daughter of Minnesota Governor Tim Walz (D), took to TikTok on Thursday to blast running influencer Kate Mackz for “platforming” the current administration with a video featuring White House Press Secretary Karoline Leavitt. Mackz is known for interviewing guests while running with them. Tim Walz was previously featured on Mackz’s account while he was campaigning as the Democratic Party’s vice presidential nominee.

In her video, Hope Walz called Mackz’s video “disappointing,” after saying she was “impressed” with the influencer when she interviewed her father. Walz argued that President Donald Trump’s administration is keeping people from joining the “running community” by cutting federal social funds and not combating climate change.

“Sending people away without due process, villainizing minorities, all of those things are preventing people from getting into the running community, which is what I thought Kate’s platform was for, but it’s also just damaging to society as a whole,” Hope Walz said. “We should not be normalizing these people.”

“Tomi, I know you don’t speak lib nonsense, but could you help translate for us what she was trying to say?” Outnumbered co-host Emily Compagno asked Tomi Lahren, host of Outkick’s Tomi Lahren Is Fearless, on Friday after watching the Walz rant.

Compagno and Lahren were joined by Kayleigh McEnany, Sandra Smith, and Joe Concha.

Lahren said she was confused by Walz’s point about running being “privileged” and requiring “gear.”

“To my knowledge, running might be one of the physical activities that you can do for no money. I mean, really, anybody can run anywhere. I understand that some people have more time than others, maybe that’s the point she’s trying to make. But to say that running is something for privileged people, again, that’s the same thing as exercise is for privileged. No, it’s for everybody,” Lahren said.

The Fox News contributor slammed Hope Walz for going after Mackz, arguing she is pushing the message that it is only okay to engage with people you politically agree with.

Compagno declared Walz’s message “mind boggling.”

“The heck with her message. How about her adult father when she was a little girl telling her not to run. I mean, think about that for a second obviously, I’m a runner so I feel very passionately about what I just heard there,” Smith said, referring to Hope Walz saying her father taught her running was “privileged” when she showed an interest in high school.

Smith declared, “Everyone can run!”

“Can we please give the Walzs a sitcom?” Concha asked in jest. He also praised Mackz and called for “more influencers” like her.

Tim Walz was the subject of mockery this week after he claimed he was chosen as a VP nominee in 2024 because he can “code talk to white guys.”
