MSNBC’s Touré: ‘We Cannot Blame’ Clinton Killers for Trying to Escape Prison

MSNBC host Touré Neblett (who goes only by his first name) said on The Cycle Monday that you couldn’t blame the two escaped killers from trying to escape from Clinton Correctional Facility.

“I mean look, these guys did horrible things, right? And they’re horrible people,” Neblett said. “But we cannot blame them for trying to run away from prison, right?”

“I mean like, I think that’s what almost anybody would do attempt to do in that situation,” Neblett continued.

Neblett opined that the fault for the breakout “really lies with the folks in the prison, who were fraternizing, who were being complacent, doing the things that allowed them to acquire the tools and the information that allowed them to run away.”
