News Anchor Surprises Girlfriend With Proposal During On-Air Interview

Mark Rivera, an anchor for WAND-TV in Decatur, Illinois, invited fellow reporter and girlfriend Alissa Groeninger to do an on-air interview. Which turned out to actually be an on-air wedding proposal. The result was, naturally, adorable.

Rivera informed viewers that they’ve been dating for three years — and that while he told Groeninger he’d be asking her a few questions, he really only wanted to ask her one question: “It’s the most important question I’ve ever asked anyone in my whole life.”
