O’Reilly: Henry Kissinger Likes My Mercenary Army Idea

Fox News anchor Bill O’Reilly‘s idea for a global, paid “mercenary army” to combat terrorism was rebutted by some in the media (including conservative commentator Charles Krauthammer) but he says he has at least one person in his corner: former Secretary of State Henry Kissinger.

O’Reilly, who was on ABC’s This Week Sunday to promote his latest book Killing Patton, said he recently spoke with Kissinger about it.

“He told me that my idea of a world-wide anti-terror force, paid for by coalition nations, under the supervision of [the U.S.] Congress … simpatico,” O’Reilly said.

“It’s a worldwide war against Jihad,” O’Reilly continued. “It’s not gonna stop. So, let’s win the war.”
