Plane Forced to Turn Back After Hysterical Woman Throws Tantrum, Strips Naked

There was quite a bit of turbulence on a Frontier Airlines flight to Oregon on Monday, and the air conditions had nothing to do with it.

A commercial plane from Denver to Portland faced an unexpected delay when a passenger’s tantrum forced them to return to the terminal just before taking off. Another passenger took a video of the unidentified woman, but he’s telling reporters that it didn’t even capture half of the erratic behavior he and his fellow witnesses saw.

The filming passenger, who asked Fox 31 to call him Devin, captured the woman as she screamed, threw herself on the ground, and started banging on the cockpit door. Flight attendants tried to get the lady to calm down, but she proceeded to say the plane was going to crash, tried to pry an oxygen bag out of an overhead panel, and Devin said she started taking off her clothes after he stopped filming.

“Her behavior was really erratic, up and down, crying and then laughing and then crying, even before she got on the plane,” Devin said. “I was uncomfortable and I wasn’t sitting next to her.”

It was when the lady started getting nude that the plane returned so that she could be taken into police custody. The plane flew to Portland afterward without further incident.
