Rob Ford Is Now Officially Canada’s Answer to Peter Griffin

The anti-Rob Ford group No Ford Nation has not only put out satirical signs to take down the Toronto mayor, but they’ve released a short cartoon series that basically reduces Ford to the Canadian version of Peter Griffin, which is made all the more sad by how the Ford lines are just actual audio from Ford’s past remarks.

The point of the videos is made clear with the tagline: “Toronto needs a mayor, not a cartoon character.” The cartoons include audio from Ford’s initial denial of his crack cocaine use, his subsequent admission of such, his infamous comment about eating pussy, and his drunken Jamaican babbling.

And, look, if Ford’s political career goes into a tailspin this election cycle, he could always end up just doing the cartoon full-time. Get Seth MacFarlane in there and you’ve got yourself a winner!
