Scarborough: Historians Will Lump Together Bush, Obama
Morning Joe host Joe Scarborough said Monday morning that historians would lump together George W. Bush and Barack Obama over their inability to successfully manage the government.
Scarborough’s initial complaint was Obama’s selection of Ron Klain as Ebola czar. Brzezinski replied that the majority of problems people were having with this and other cases of supposed mismanagement were “optics,” not the actual policies, causing Scarborough to object.
“This is what we’ve seen throughout this entire presidency,” Brzezinski said. “Just potshots right and let.”
“I don’t think it’s potshots to say Barack Obama has serious leadership challenges,” Scarborough said. “I will be glad to take bets rom anybody across America. Historians are going to be writing and they’re going to be lumping together George W. Bush and Barack Obama as two people that don’t — As far as leadership, knowing how to effectively run the White House, knowing effectively run Washington D.C., knowing effectively how to run the bureaucracies. I look forward to reading those historians who say this guy knows how to run Washington effectively. I don’t know who’s going to write it.”
